"We have had a lovely start to the year for Endeavour house! We have had some incredible numbers in attendance at house events with Endeavour students being some of the most consistent attendees. This works to show the dedication and determinisation of those within the Endeavour house and the excellent teamwork we strive to showcase. we have seen some victories and some very close second places in house events with some wonderful performances in football, basketball and dance! We may be 4th in the house cup at the moment, but we have plenty of time to turn that around and get ourselves back up top. Here's to a brilliant 2023 and an even better 2024."

"As the new head of house for endeavour, I am incredibly excited to be working alongside such a dedicated and hardworking group of students. This year there will be a huge array of opportunities for students to represent their house and show their house pride. I hope to create a true sense of belonging and drive this year, to push us in the right direction, continuing to attend and win house events, put in unparalleled effort at sports day and even contribute to us winning the house cup!
It is always so brilliant to see so many endeavour faces winning awards within the school, whether for sports teams or house points, the accolades keep pouring in. I urge all endeavour students to put themselves out there this year and get themselves involved with events as much as possible to show your support and determination. Regardless of any adversity, always remember, ENDEAVOUR TO BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE!"

Hello to the Endeavour readers, I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce you to our Endeavour tutor representative team. These students are the people you go to for positive change! Tutor reps are the ones who take Friday House Competition names, charity fundraising ideas and promote Endeavour through and through! Student reps have the awesome job of feeding back what their tutors want change to me as Head of House, they are your voice! During our assembly this term I spoke of the importance of collaboration through team work and how each and every person has a role to play. Whilst wearing the #YellowArmy uniform and stunningly vibrant red accessories you are showing pride in your role here with us; as the future. Please can I take this opportunity to remind you of how you can show the BHCS cornerstones:
- attending afterschool clubs and enrichment activities of which include: art club, trampolining, table tennis and so many more.
- Getting stuck in during lessons, what positive contributions could you make?
- Reminding us of the word of the week
- Showing kindness to others through support, communication – it could be as small as asking how someone’s day is and having courage to speak up.
- Taking part in the House Cup Events, turn up – show courage and give something new a try. Miss Marsh Head of Endeavour

Well Done Endeavour! What a year we have had and it’s not over! There is all to play for guys – still time to win it back! We may not have won on the day but we went down with a fight!
I am so, so proud of you all. Every single student brought their game faces, stepping up to fill in for others, cheering on from the side lines and even wearing beautiful face paint!

19-08-2021 : Welcome to Endeavour
Welcome to Endeavour!
My name is Miss Marsh and I am the proud Head of the Endeavour house working alongside our Endeavour House captain: Abi Rogers in year 11 and student representatives in year 7, 8, 9 and 10.
Endeavour House is named after the NASA space station space ship: Endeavour! We rise above the rest. Success Supposes Endeavour.
We succeed everyday by: supporting, encouraging and helping other Endeavours but also everyone else showing just how great team players we are. We show Brighton hill Community Schools’ four corner stones of: Courage, Commitment, Collaboration and Kindness.
Endeavour’s house ambassador is Tom Daley. Having made his Olympic debut aged 14, Tom Daley had to wait till his fourth Games in Tokyo to get his hands on a gold medal! Not only is Tom Daley a magnificent sports person but he is also inspirational within everyday life. Promoting equality, the right to love whoever you wish; and a crazy knitter selling his pieces to raise funds for many different charities.
My vision for Endeavour is to create a red family. We will Endeavour to support, encourage, believe and work hard to create success. We are a family within the #YellowArmy and we make sure no one is left behind.
