Getting to and from School
We are proud of our accessible site. Each day staff are posted to receive and welcome students in the morning and to supervise them at the end of the school day. There are a number of travel options which are available to students:
1. Buses
There are bus routes which stop immediately outside the school site, which allows a safe and effective option for students to travel.
Please contact the relevant bus companies for the areas:
- The main bus company for the Hatch Warren / Kempshott Park areas is StageCoach Tel: 0845 1210190
Students who do not receive a bus pass from Hampshire County Council may use any convenient commercial bus service to get to school.
Students who live in either Cliddesden, Broadmere, Farleigh Wallop, Ellisfield, Dummer or North Waltham can apply for transport provision from HCC.

Students who live in Dummer or North Waltham can also use the service 55 run by Newbury & District, follow the link below:
If you have any queries on transport please contact Passenger Transport Group on
Tel: 01962 846924.
2. Bicycles
At the school we have a secure bicycle storage facility on site. As a Healthy School, we actively encourage students to cycle to school. Students who wish to cycle will need to obtain a permit from their Head of Year. This is to ensure that there is ample allocation for storage and that we are content that all safety measures, such as cycle helmets have been considered.
Please note that bicycles are brought on to school site at the owners risk, the school cannot take responsibility for any loss or damage.
For safety reasons, students that cycle to school should dismount before the main pathway leading to the Quilter Road gate. Students should walk with their bicycles at all times when on the school grounds. At the end of the school day, leave via the Quilter Road gate and mount their bicycle only when they have cleared the pathway.
3. Car
We recognise that some parents will wish to drop off, or pick-up their children by car. However, for the health and safety of all students, car drop-offs and pick-ups are not permitted in the school car park. For the safety of all the children in our care we also strongly encourage parents to avoid using the lay-by between the school and Basingstoke Soccer Centre.
When dropping-off or picking-up your child near to school, kindly obey the highway code and be respectful of our community residents as well as other road users. Children should sensibly utilise the pelican crossing near Quilter Road, gate should the drop-off or pick-up be on the other side of Brighton Way.
Where children require additional support due to safeguarding or disability, please contact the school via email with details of the circumstances so appropriate support can be put in place.
